College talk: Walker-Kimbrough committed to perennial ACC contender Maryland in July. She considered offers from Purdue and Duquesne before choosing the Terrapins.

ERIN MATHIAS, FOX CHAPEL
Height: 6-3 • Forward • Junior

The scoop: After missing her sophomore season with a knee injury, Mathias had a breakout junior season for the Foxes. She averaged 17.1 points per game and led Fox Chapel to a share of the Class AAAA Section 2 title. She scored nine points in the Foxes' first-round WPIAL playoff victory against Butler, and scored 19 in their 45-42 lossagainst Mt. Lebanon in the quarterfinals.

College talk: Mathias has been verbally committed to Duke since her freshman season. She can sign her letter of intent for the Blue Devils in November.

CIARA GREGORY, JEANNETTE

The scoop: Gregory led the WPIAL in scoring for the second consecutive season with 30.4 points per game. She ended her career as Jeannette's all-time leading scorer with 2,130 career points. In the Jayhawks' three-game WPIAL playoff run, she averaged 34.3 points per game. Gregory led Jeannette to a Class AA Section 3 title and the WPIAL semifinals and scored 27 of her team's 38 points in a 73-38 loss against Seton-LaSalle.

College talk: Gregory committed to Charlotte of the Atlantic 10 in August. William & Mary, Ball State and James Madison were her other finalists.

Most memorable moment from this season? "Beating Greensburg Central at Greensburg Central to win the section."

What do you most want to improve about your basketball game? "There's room for improvement in every category. Probably my shooting first, more consistent."

CHASSIDY OMOGROSSO, BLACKHAWK
Height: 5-5 • Guard • Sophomore

The scoop: Omogrosso averaged 22.0 points per game over the regular season to finish seventh in the WPIAL in scoring. She powered the Cougars to a 12-0 section record and a Class AAA Section 2 title. She scored 31 points in Blackhawk's 82-61 victory against West Mifflin in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs, and led the Cougars to both the WPIAL and PIAA semifinals.

College talk: Despite being only a sophomore, Omogrosso verbally committed to Pitt in January. She can't sign a letter of intent with the Panthers until her senior year.

Most memorable moment from this season? "Probably both times we beat Hopewell. Those were big wins for us."

What do you most want to improve about your basketball game? "Everything. There's always room for improvement."

SHELBY LINDSAY, SOUTH PARK
Height: 5-11 • Guard • Senior

The scoop: Lindsay was the catalyst for an Eagles team that claimed both the WPIAL and PIAA Class AAA titles this season. She averaged 17.9 points per game this season. In the Eagles' 53-38 victory against Bethlehem Catholic in the PIAA title game, Lindsay scored a team-high 22 points. Following a midseason loss to Hopewell, South Park won 15 games in a row to close out the season.

College talk: Colleges have been late to notice Lindsay, but she certainly drew attention with her strong senior season. Her coach, Reggie Wells, said she's considering Providence and Fairleigh Dickinson, among others.
