Football - Schools with the most PIAA titles

Four WPIAL football teams have qualified for the PIAA Championships: Pine-Richland (Class 6A), South Fayette (Class 4A), Aliquippa (Class 3A), and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Class 1A). Two more teams will qualify this weekend, as the WPIAL concludes its tournaments in Class 5A and 1A.

The PIAA has been holding championships in football since 1988. Since then, 124 champions have been crowned (44 from the WPIAL, 1 from the City League, and 79 other teams from across the state).
