Wrestling - Career Record Leader for each school

In 1979, Penn-Trafford's Tom Klingensmith became the first member of the WPIAL Wrestling Century Club. He finished with a career record of 113-8. The following year, two more wrestlers joined him: Bishop Canevin's O.J. Wandrisco (108-7) and Monti Guidi (108-5).

Membership in the Century Club has skyrocketed since then. Prior to the start of the 2018-19 wrestling season, the WPIAL Century Club had 894 members. Eight more have since reached the century mark to increase the total to 902 members.

Eight wrestlers entered the season as members of the WPIAL Century Club. Only two have a legitimate shot at breaking their school record for career victories.

* McGuffey's Christian Clutter entered the season with the most wins of any current WPIAL senior with a 119-23 record, but catching Highlanders' career-record holder Jeremy Hunter (171-2) is not possible. Clutter set McGuffey's season record with 47 wins last season, but would need 53 wins to pass Hunter. Clutter's teammate, Jett Pattison, opened the season with 106 wins.

* The same is true for Derry's Dom DeLuca, who started the season with a 116-23 record. Troy Dolan (170-9) holds the school record, which means DeLuca would need 55 wins to pass him. DeLuca set the school record for season victories last year with 48.

* Noah Levett (159-33) set Kiski Area's career record last season before moving on to Bucknell University. Senior Darren Miller began the season with 118 wins, so he needs 42 wins to pass Levett. Miller recorded 47 wins two years ago, so it is possible. His current record is 11-0. Miller's teammate, Cam Connor, entered the season with 113 wins and has since added 13 victories.

* Beth-Center's Dominic Fundy concluded his junior season with a 104-14 record, but could have had a much higher total. A broken thumb kept him from competing in the postseason last season. Anthony Welsh (149-31) is Beth-Center's career win leader. Fundy needs 46 wins to pass Welsh.

* Freedom's Z.J. Ward (105-25) and Franklin Regional's Colton Camacho (102-18) are the other two WPIAL seniors who joined the Century Club last season as a junior, but neither has a chance of breaking their school record. Cody Komara (156-31) holds the record at Freedom, while Nico Megaludis (170-1) is Franklin Regional's career leader.

Attached is a list of the career record leader for each high school, along with the number of century club members for each school.
