The PIAA Boys & Girls Soccer Championships will be held Nov. 16-17 at Hersheypark Stadium. Four teams from the WPIAL are among the 16 entries. West Allegheny, Deer Lakes, and Avonworth are in the boys finals, while Freedom is the only girls entry. It's the first title appearance for all four teams. Here is the schedule: Girls Class 1A - Freedom vs. Southern Columbia, Nov. 16, 11 a.m. Boys Class 1A - Avonworth vs. Millersville, Nov. 16, 1:30 p.m. Girls Class 3A - Blue Mountain vs. Villa Joseph Marie, Nov. 16, 4 p.m. Boys Class 3A - West Allegheny vs. Strath Haven, Nov. 16, 6:30 p.m. Girls Class 2A - Bedford vs. Lewisburg, Nov. 17, 11 a.m. Boys Class 2A - Deer Lakes vs. Fleetwood, Nov. 17, 1:30 p.m. Girls Class 4A - Souderton vs. Pennridge, Nov. 17, 4 p.m. Boys Class 4A - Radnor vs. Wilson, Nov. 17, 6:30 p.m. Four teams in the finals have won previous titles. Boys - Strath Haven has won five titles, Fleetwood three titles, Wilson one title. Girls - Villa Joseph Marie ranks first among girls teams with nine PIAA titles.
